Optional Accessories for Your Forklift
Audible Devices - Motion or back-Up Alarms:
Back-up alarms and motion alarms are audio device accessories that produce enough sound so that the sound is heard overtop the sounds generated from the forklift itself.
The sound produced by the audio device should be distinguishable from other audible devices or sounds from the work environment. The sound must also be different from the other sound or audible devices within the work area. The audible device can end up contributing to OSHA noise limitation and to employee noise exposure; thus, care has to be taken.
Hearing protection makes it harder to hear the audible device and to determine which direction and distance it is coming from. Audible devices can occasionally get disabled from both operators and workers as they could find them irritating. As well, audible devices may also be objectionable to residents in the vicinity.
Additional Operator & Application Options:
Enclosed Operator Cabs: To be able protect the operator from the elements, enclosed operator cabs made of tempered glass are utilized to help prevent injuries and reduce other issues. In addition, these cabs feature an emergency exit through removing the window. The levels of noise are reduced at the operator's ear because of additional sound proofing.
Operator Selectable Performance Modes: For every specific application, the operator could choose the performance need. Moreover, it allows a supervisor to set the model's utmost performance for an operator who is just learning. Being able to adjust and lessen the maximum performance of the model allows a new operator to learn the equipment's operating features in a controlled setting.
Impact Monitor: The impact monitor disables the model and when this occurs, it needs a supervisor to activate and override the model. This encourages the operator to be sure to manage the machinery in a more controlled way.
Dual Rear View and Panoramic Mirrors: These particular mirrors help to assist the operator in observing their tail swing area, and operating space behind the vehicle.
