Hyster Container Handlers Mesa

Hyster forklifts have many optional and standard feature in order to make each and every equipment safer for the driver and other employees in the work site area. A few of the available features are audible devices, safety lights, ergonomic operator compartments and operator restraint systems.



To be able to help warn other people of a nearby or approaching forklift, visual safety devices like strobe lights may help. There is a low-mounted strobe light which has a shield to help prevent the light shining into the operator's eyes.



Reverse operation alarms are examples of audible warning devices which sound automatically if the forklift is backing up. This will help to alert other pedestrians and workers of the presence lift truck. A rear drive handle with horn enables the driver's hand to be secure when backing-up. This inboard handle protects the operator's hand in case of impact and the handle includes a horn which allows the driver to sound the horn without moving their hand to the main steering wheel.



In case of a forklift flip over, operator restraint systems help to keep the forklift operator's torso and head inside the cab of the truck to help prevent serious injury. Hip Restraints and Anti-Cinch Seat Belt are standard features on all current models of Yale/Hyster lift trucks. For older Hyster/Yale forklifts, safety restraint systems are available for installation on most units.



Superb ergonomics are available in the Hyster StanDrive E30-40HSD2 series lift trucks. Available in 3,000 or 4,000 pound capacities, these types of trucks are very durable and versatile, as well as ergonomically designed to improve productivity and improve operator comfort. In order to increase operator visibility and comfort, the controls enable the operator to stand in side-stance or at 45 degrees.
