End Control Forklifts
The stand-up end control forklift is a really flexible machine and is popular in the material handling industry. These machines have superior performance features that are somewhat comparable to sit-down electric forklift models.
Ideally, these forklift truck models are suited for warehousing operation atmospheres that have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are often less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These machinery are an excellent choice for applications which need regular on and off access, as their stand-up design is an excellent feature.
The reach truck is a loading equipment utilized by a variety of businesses that maintain a storage facility which involves the arrangement of finished products on pallets and materials which are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great option for people who prefer to store pallets of products they do not need for immediate use in a safe and efficient way.
All basic reach truck units would have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the machinery. Telescoping tines are mounted to the out-rigging and could move down and up. The forks additionally include a hydraulic setup that allows the operator to pick up the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This particular design not just gives more balance to the whole load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to move between the storage shelves into narrow aisles.
When the selected shelf has been identified, the hydraulic tines swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into place. Normally, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet across without difficulty, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
