To charge the DC battery and to offer the operator with long battery life between charges, Genie DC units have systems on-board. There is also a 30 amp universal smart charger system utilized to charge overnight or between shifts. The smart charger system would automatically convert to the AC voltage frequency and input. To save unnecessary power usage which will cost your business this charging system will automatically shut down when the battery pack has reached full charge. Genie DC models offer proportional drive and lift controls which help the operator to utilize smooth and precise movements and regulate the speed of every function. This ensures accurate positioning with every lift. On non-jib units, the self-levelling platform rotates to 90 in either direction. For jib models, the jib can rotate 80 in either direction as well as 135 to 139 vertically, depending on the unit utilized. Working heights range from 12.52 meters to 15.94 meters, depending on the model. Genie DC lifts are stable when rotating the turntable in tight spaces. Because of lack of tailswing, repositioning of the lift whilst rotating the turntable is not necessary.
