Articulating Booms - Electric and Bi-Energy

The Bi-Energy and Genie DC machinery made by Terex provide emission-free and quiet operation in the most sensitive work applications. For instance, in industrial situations where the equipment must travel significant distances, the Genie bi-energy system combines the flexibility and benefits of a diesel fueled generator with a 48 Volt DC machine.



Key features that this combination provides is out, up and over positioning capabilities for complete flexibility. What's more, the zero tail-swing provided by most units, combined with the tight turning radius offers easy maneuvering through standard doors and narrow aisles.



Drive controls and proportional lift controls also offer smooth drive performance and precise boom positioning. The 48V DC electric drive system provides quiet and emission free operation suitable for sensitive environments. There are jib boom models available to function with an additional working range for particular tasks. On non-jib models, there is a self-leveling platform which rotates ninety degrees to either side.



Articulating Booms - Diesel Engine

Genie machines by Terex are great for both outdoor and indoor construction applications. This model offers engine-powered articulating Z booms which combine out, over and up positioning capabilities and extreme lifting versatility overall. Diesel engine machines on most modes have an articulating boom which provides zero tail-swing with a small turning radius. These machines are great in small or narrow locations. In addition, they provide exceptional torque, grade and terrain maneuverability and supreme power. The diesel engines are quiet in general as well. Nearly all models have full time drive positive drive traction system and active oscillating axle to offer great flexibility on surfaces which are rough and uneven.



High ground clearance is provided in 4 or 2 wheel drive models, while the rough terrain models are desirable for any company's fleet. The jib boom types are available and provide extra range capabilities. On non-jib types, the self-leveling platform also rotates to ninety degrees on these models as well.
