JLG Straight Boom Lifts Mesa

JLG offers the 600 Series of articulating booms. These models feature a narrow chassis option to access tight areas. The 600 Series features the industry's best work envelope; 8.1 m or 26 feet, 7 inches up and over height and a horizontal outreach of 39 feet, 9 inches or 12.12 m. These machines offer dual rated capacities of 500 pounds and 1000 pounds too. Combined with a 60 foot platform height, these units would provide you with the reach capacity and the strength you require no matter what kind of job needs to be completed.



To give you excellent performance and drive on rough terrain, these articulating booms come with standard oscillating axle and optional 4-wheel drive. Giving unmatched agility and confined spaces, are the 3-position switch and optional 4-wheel steer. The platform controls are improved and have been redesigned in order to give more controlled operation and be smoother for job site productivity.



Raising Safety Standards for Aircraft Maintenance

The Model 740AJ is the best machinery for working on any aircraft size. This model provides 74 feet or 22.6 m of height and more than fifteen m or 51 feet of outreach. It has numerous safety features which you need when performing maintenance. The Fall Arrest platform can be included so as to allow you to exit the platform and move a complete 270 degrees around the platform in a radius of 6 feet, and continue to have fall protection whilst doing so.



Another optional feature is the Soft Touch System. This reduces damage and the risk of any accidental contact in aircraft maintenance. This package option offers a suspended padded rail that surrounds the platform basket. There are proximity sensors which de-activate platform movement functions and if the basket comes too near the aircraft surface, the operator is warned.



Benefits

The articulating jib allows for more access and accurate positioning to all external surfaces on any aircraft. This specific jib could be used in both uncontrolled and controlled areas due to steady winds, jet blast standards of 80 mph and 90 mph gusts. An optional on-board air compressor allows for pneumatic-powered hand tools to be used. When performing maintenance outside of the platform, the Fall Arrest adds safety.
